Turn your Blackberry/ Cell Phone into a radio station...

With all the new APPs out there another one of my favorites is www.iheartradio.com, with this APP I can listen to over 350 stations in the U.S. on my Blackberry. I hook my phone to my home theatre system and plug in my phone charger so my phone battery won't go dead and then tada I'm listening to Internet radio thru the phone. It's great and I don't have to purchase Sirius radio, etc. to hear other stations that I like in other states that I don't have access to in the NY/NJ area.

Note: When your phone rings and/or your calendar pops up which mine often do your station will automatically cut off and you will have to press the play button to refresh the station...but for free radio all over the U.S. it's worth a couple of clicks.

Thank you Toya for the Blackberry tip ;-)

Happy Listening!

Which Free Apps are really useful for your cell phone or PDA:

It’s now the law in most state not to text while you’re driving but there is great App that I use call “Drive Safe.ly” this App has the capability to speak your incoming text messages out loud while you’re driving. This way that I can at least receive my messages as they come in and decide which one is really important for me to pull over and text back ;-0. To get this free App download at http://www.drivesafe.ly.

Happy listening.

Have you thought about downgrading your home or business telephone bill:

Well I did and now I use “Magic Jack” and I love it. The software is a $39.95 for a one time fee and the yearly phone bill is $19.95. This has cut down on my bill tremendously to help toward my annual budget. Please note that Magic Jack does not support your alarm system and may not work with all fax machines but it’s a great alternative if you need an extra number. You need an internet connection in order to use the phone… this is great for one bill you can actually have the internet and a phone...now that’s savings.

Happy calling.
